Analysis of Fire Causes of 21 cases of High-rise Building and Safety Countermeasures
In order to effectively solve the high-rise building fire, the thesis analyzes 21 cases of high-rise building fires to provide data support for high-rise building fire safety decision-making. The results showed that, (1) indifference to fire safety is a principal factor, accounting for 57.14%. This was followed by electrical wires, accounting for 19%. (2) in the 21 cases of high-rise building fires, except three cases of construction, the remaining 1 g cases caused 571 deaths, an average of 31.72 persons per case, reaching a special serious fire level. (3) 12 cases happened during the day, causing a total of 158 persons killed, an average of 13.17 deaths per case; 9 cases at night, a total of 414 deaths on average of 46 per case, about 3.49 times during the day, indicating that the harm of high-rise buildings fire is much greater than that during the day.The conclusionsare: (1) by strengthening high-rise building fire safety concept to eliminate the human factors, high-rise building fire risk can be greatly reduced. (2) by enhancing management and maintenance of electrical wiring system to improve fireprevention facilities and systems, this can further reduce the number of high-rise building fires. (3) and also proposing alerts to prevent arson and sabotage activities of hostile terrorist.
