Analysis and Prevention of Mobile Phone Accidents
The paper analyzed 19 mobile phone accidents and discussed their causes and corresponding countermeasure. The research shows that (1) 6 accidents of all the 19 caused explosion of mobile phone, accounting for 31.6％; 9 accidents caused fire, accounting for 47.4％ and 2 caused traffic accidents and explosion of gas/oil stations, accounting for 10.5％. (2) in terms of the causes of the accidents, 5 were due to the quality of mobile phone battery, accounting for 26.3％. Charger led to 11 accidents, accounting for 57.9％ of all the accidents, of which improper use (overcharging such as plugging into outlets without removing for a long time) is the cause of 6 accidents, accounting for31.6％; quality (quality of charger, battery, etc.) is the cause of 3 accidents, accounting for 15.8％. Conclusion: Strengthening the production, mark management and safe using of battery will reduce the accidents by 80％ and education and management should also be strengthened to raise the awareness of the users so as to avoid such accidents.
