Correlation of Scaffolding Accident and the Owners Safety Management
Scaffolding is one of the most widely used temporary facilities in the construction project. Frequent installation, high-level technic required in removal and absent management lead the scaffolding accidents to occur frequently.Owner as an important participant in the construction process play a central role in the safety management.To encourage the owners to participate in scaffolding safety management, improve the security level of scaffolding and contain scaffolding accident-prone situation.this thesis collects ninety-four scaffolding accident cases, using statistical analysis and chi-square test.analyzing the correlation of scaffolding accidents and the owners safety managementThe results show that injury styles, accident level and direct reasons are interrelated with the correlation between scaffolding accidents and the owners safety management.In order to urge the owners to maximize the effect on scaffolding safety.the owners are required to implement scaffolding safety management focusing on injury styles.accident level.direct reasons which are so related to the owners,Basing on these, the thesis concludes some recommendations about the owners to manage the safety of scaffolding.
