Study of City Environment Safety Management Model-with a Particular Reference to Jiangbei District in Chongqing City
The present article, taking Jiangbei District of Chongqing City as case, firstly proposes the following environmental problems Chongqing city is faced with: (1) more serious pollutions pose great threat to secondarily important rivers in this area, and three large and medium-sized reservoirs are under a moderate state of nutrition; (2) there is a lack of measures catering to the solution to such issues as sudden environmental pollution; (3) air pollution in the region is now witnessing a transfer from coal smoke pollution type into a mixed one; (4) noises from construction and social life seriously affect the way of citizens of life. In order to address the above mentioned problems, the present article, stating the limitations in the current model of environmental management in Chongqing City, puts forward the appropriate model of urban environmental management, i.e. establishing City Resources Management Committee and encouraging active involvement among the public, and finally corresponding management objective of Chongqing City is to be identified.
