Study on Brisance Test for Civilian Pyrotechnics
The object of research was brisance test on civilian pyrotechnics by lead cylinder compression method. Under the natural accumulation density, brisance of 20.0g of powdery Black powder, Lei powder, Di Yinji, White powder and Red powder is 4.425mm, 7.729mm, 3.260mm, 6.650mm, 3.505mm, and Propellant granules and globosely Xiangzi powder is 3.455mm, 4.316mm, but brisance of 20.0g of θ3 Red powder and Green powder is 2.285mm, 2.313mm, besides, 010 Red powder and Green powder is 0.265mm, 0.614mm respectively. The results show that brisance of different formulations pyrotechnic displays prodigious difference and the brisance of Lei powder and White powder are largish and it has a higher sensitivity in the different types of pyrotechnic, but brisance of Red powder and Green powder will be lessening with augment of diameter on pyrotechnic. The relation between brisance test of pyrotechnic and experimental conditions, crush degree of component and loading density was analyzed and identified systematically, and then the relative merits on lead cylinder compression method would be indicated.
