Feature of Acoustic Emission and Failure Analysis for Three-Dimensional Braided Composite Material under Load
Proper Carbon Fiber 3-D braided composite material samples were chosen for typical damages under tensilei compression and bending. Acoustic emission(AE) signals were collected in three-point flexural tests. Wavelet transform was applied to eliminate noise and extract characteristic parameters from major AE events. Parameters analysis was used to analyze AE characteristic of samples under tensile ( compression and bending. From spectrum analysis of AE waveform signals, improving understanding damages mechanism of Carbon Fiber 3-D braided composite material.
