An Improved Approach for Discrete No-fit Polygon Calculation Based on Intelligent-view
This paper presents an improved method based on intelligent-view for calculating discrete no-fit polygon. Most of solutions to the two-dimensional irregular packing problem using discrete no-fit polygon, however, usually might cause void space or involve expensive calculating time. To solve these problems, an improved approach based on intelligent-view is proposed, which including: (1) the input parts and the sheet will be given automatically; (2) the configurations of the parts are flexible despite the initial positions and orientations of the parts are not previous known. Computational results imply that the improved approach based on intelligent-view is efficient.
