Dynamic Channel Allocation Schemes Based on SINR Analysis for Cellular Relaying Networks
Cooperative relaying technique is an efficient way to combat wireless channel fading and exploit distributed spatial diversity, which is a promising candidate method for future LTE-A networks. In this paper, the dynamic channel allocation (DCA) schemes are proposed based on signal-to-interference-and -noise ratio (SINR) analysis for cellular relaying networks. First, a novel maximum interference mitigation ring (MIMR) is proposed in order to decrease the inter-cell interference. Based on the proposed MIMR, the SINR of direct users and relay users are modeled and analyzed. Second, various DCA schemes are proposed and evaluated for cellular relaying networks, in which the admission control, load balance and two-hop balance are taken into account to realize the optimization. The simulation results illustrate that the quality of the second hop has much effect on the system capacity than that of the first hop. The proposed optimal channel allocation (OCA) scheme can yield the best performance in terms of throughput and QoS. Compared with OCA method, the proposed hybrid channel allocation (HCA) scheme can obtain the approaching performances, whose complexity is relatively low. Furthermore, the proposed DCA schemes can improve the resource utilization and enhance the system performance.
