Research on CSCW Simulating Chinese Brushs Functions As A New Type Human-Computer Interaction Means

With the development of network information technology, research and application of Computer Supported Cooperative Work system (CSCW) is spread in various fields. Human-computer interaction is the important composition part of CSCW. Whereas in current Human-computer interaction, it is far from insufficient in terms of embodying humanity(culture, psychology and emotion) and individuation (handwriting style of writing, strength and technique). The innovation of this research is to introduce electronic Chinese brush handwriting pattern that simulates features of Chinese traditional calligraphy and painting into network conference. This CSCW system research is to integrate a series of electronic pen functions developed by us, which simulate pen-type characteristics including brush pen, pen, pencil, shade-pen, watery pen and withered-pen, and to research and develop CSCW system which possesses abundant functions and humanity and individuation possessed by Chinese painting and calligraphy in order to meet Chinese peoples needs of hoping to interact with personalized features of brush pen in network conference. The CSCW system has been tested on LAN and campus network and achieved good effects and stage production.
