Application of COMSOL Multiphysics Numerical Simulation Method on Dust Control
Dust pollution has not only brought hidden problems to production safety in the plant, but also affected human health seriously. Because of the migration process and complexity of the oil shale dust in the ATP process, nonlinear partial differential equation of higher order is often employed as the mathematical model to describe its migration. This paper has established the gas-solid two-phase mathematical model for the movement oil shale dust, and adopted the software of COMSOL Muliiphysic to simulate the established model. The results showed that: The dust elimination method of separately set closed system can not eliminate the positive pressure generated by blanking at transit point. To induce the negative pressure when setting closed system, it can produce a reasonable negative pressure at transit point, thus effectively controlling the escape of dust at the transit point. According to the conclusions of the present study, the author puts forward the control technology of dust pollution at transit point in ATP process.
