An Overview of Integration of RoF with PON

摘要：

With the emergence of high-bandwidth services such as IPTV, the access network system is putting pressure to increase the bandwidth for different services. This paper demonstrates the integration configuration of RoF and PON, which takes full advantage of huge bandwidth offered by fiber and mobile features presented by wireless scheme. It is an optimal solution for increasing capacity and bandwidth as well as decreasing costs in the access network.
