Intensity Optimization of Debris Shield of Powered Support
During the process of design and development of the powered support with large mining height more than 6m, by using CAE technology to simulation and analyze of the test, potential problems of the powered support could be found, the structure and strength of key parts could be improved, and the reliability of the the powered support was increased. In this paper, whole model of powered support with large mining height was established, and the ANSYS was used to simulate test analysis. We found that there is too large stress and obvious stress concentration in the debris shield of powered support Through repeated structural improvement and simulation test analysis, the reasonable structure of the debris shield was determined. The reformed debris shield demonstrates significantly improvement of the stress situation, and the strength optimization was achieved. This ensure the reliability of the powered supporot with large mining height.
