The Influence of Discharge Parameters H Gas in Color Alternate Current Plasma Display Panel
The influence of H2 addition on the discharge characteristics of Ne-Xe in a AC-PDP macro-cell. The results show that the firing voltage, sustaining voltage and discharge current are affected by H_2 addition remarkably. The minimum values of firing voltage and sustaining voltage as well as the maximum values of voltage margin can be obtained under a certain H_2%, and The values increases with the frequency. The maximum values of initial discharge current can be obtained under a certain frequency. The experimental results show that the firing voltage and sustaining voltage reaches the minimum values under mixture gas of Ne-Xe (4.14%) and H_2 (0.016%) even if the all values of the frequency. The initial discharge current reaches the maximum values under 36 kHz frequency even if the all H_2%, and same as no H_2 addition at 90 kHz frequency.
