STUDY OF RIDE COMFORT OF AUTOMOBILE SEMI-ACTIVE SUSPENSION BASED ON THE INTERACTION OF PASSENGER-VEHICLE-ROAD
Based on the study of the semi-active suspension system of the 1/2 vehicle body with 4-DOF, considering many factors, such as suspension, seat, passenger and road condition, a dynamic model of 1/2 vehicle body with 5-DOF is created concerning the interaction of passenger, vehicle and road. The fuzzy controller used for this model is designed out and the simulation test is done upon it by MATLAB/SIMULINK. The study shows that the fuzzy controlled semi-active suspension can not only reduces vertical acceleration and pitch angular acceleration of vehicle body, improve the ride comfort and manipulation stability, but also greatly reduces the active shock on the vehicle body, thus extending the life of the automobile parts.
