Mechanism and Simulation of Personifying Intelligent Decision-making for Vessel Collision Avoidance
This paper defines the mechanism of the Personifying Intelligent Decision-making for Vessel Collision Avoidance(short form for PIDVCA)at open sea which involves ship anti-collision model, decision-making algorithm for ship collision avoidance and model for PIDCVA, all of which is based on the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea /972(short form for RULE below) and the ordinary practice of seamen during which the experienced sailors takes action to avoid collision. The paper emphatically discusses the principle of the PIDVCA at open sea and introduces some typical simulation instances based on the safe navigation and automatic collision avoidance simulation testing platform and does some analytic work for those tests. Finally, the paper puts forward some unsolved issues during the research.
