Damage Identification Based On Wavelet Packets &Frequency Response Function
Single method for damage identification is not sensitive to some damages. A new damage identification method is proposed in this paper based on Frequency Response Function and wavelet packet, Take frequency response functions (FRF) which before and after structure damage as signals and carry out wavelet packets analysis. By simulation of damage detection to the continuous beam, it proves feasibility of the method for damage detection. It not only can identify the minuteness damage in structure and get good effect, but also damage which near support can be detected, provides a way for structure on-line monitoring.
