Preparation and Regeneration of Bioplasts for Biomodification of Polyester
Bacilli B-F could biomodify polyester fabrics at moderate temperature and thermophilic bacteria S-R could grow well at high temperature. The two strains might be fused together to generate a new strain which could modify polyester under high temperate. The first important step of cell fusion was the preparation and regeneration of bioplasts. Experiments were carried out to study the best preparation and regeneration condition of bioplasts for B-F and S-R. Experimental factors included the concentration of the enzyme,the processing time and temperature. The results showed that the best preparation and regeneration condition for B-F was to digest the cells at 37℃ for 3 ℃ in the presence of lysozyme(12 g/L) and the best condition for S-R was to digest the cells under 60℃ for 1 h in the presence of lysozyme(1.5 g/L). Under these conditions the preparetion ratio of bioplasts was relative high and the bioplasts could regenerate well. The research created good foundation for next step the fusion of the stains.
