Improving Dyeing Behavior of PLA Fiber with Plasticizing and Solubilizing System
Two cationic Gemini surfactants (D821,D1021) and plasticizer(n-amyl acetate) were compounded scientifically to prepare for two kinds of more effective accelerating agents,which were used in improving the dyeing property of Poly(lactic acid) fiber when dyed with disperse dyes. Thanks to the two kinds of accelerating agents added in the dye bath,both the dye-uptake and the color depth were improved significantly compared with that obtained in the absence of the accelerating agents. The experimental results show that there is synergistic action between the cationic Gemini surfactant and namyl acetate. FTIR,microscope analysis and dyeing mechanism are also investigated to explain the mechanism.
