Study on the Effect of Cellulase on Cotton Properties
This work investigated the changes in structures and properties of cotton fabrics washed with cellulosecontaining detergent in order to understand the mechanism of fabric soil release improvement. The results showed that the wettabiliy of cotton fabric increased along with the increase of washing cycles,but the changes in stiffness and crystal index were opposite. After washing,the fabric surface became more fragile,meanwhile generated etching and many hydrophilic groups,so that the fabric hydrophilicity and the soil release property were improved.
