Influence of Spacer on Spun Yarn Quality in Cotton Spinning

Hairiness is an important factor in yarn quality. There are many methods for reducing hairiness such as traveller,spindle speed and.... At this research,we study the impression of various spacers (white,yellow,and grey) on properties of some yarns. As you know in ring frame,fibers after passing through from draft zoom they reach to product roller. They must pass aprons. The distance between these aprons is very important. We used some clips such as grey,white,yellow for polyester/viscose,cotton/viscose and 100％ cotton yarns with difficult yarn count (30 combed and carded,40 combed). After we tested,it showed any yarn needs to a special clip and any clips are not good for any yarn. If we use suitable clips,it can reduce hairiness.
