Research on the Constant Tension Yarn Feeder of Weft Knitting Machine
This paper introduce a method that how the spandex are fed into knitting program with constant tension. In the feeding process,the tension fluctuation mainly comes from two reasons: The first reason is the spandex filament it selfs longitudinal vibration;the second reason is the spandex filament formed an air balloon models which generates the tension fluctuations. Constant tension feeder adopts the principle of PID closed-loop system;it can perfectly balance the tension fluctuation of spandex filament and meet the requirement of knitting program.
