The Effect of Ring-spinning Parameters:Result from Theoretical Model
Rotating yarn loop,which is called balloons in the textile industry,is the last phase of the manufacturing process of textile yarn. The shape of spinning balloon is closely related to yarn tension which has a direct impact on yarn quality and breakage rate. Previous studies in the literature paid much attention to theoretical analysis of the mathematical model with regard to bifurcation phenomenon. In the present paper,a more realistic analysis of the ring-spinning parameters are discussed in order to facilitate online control and ring-spinning machine design. The results of the numerical simulation are presented in the form of graphic presentations of the balloon shape and of the yarn tension-balloon height dependencies.
