Preparation of Phase-Change Microcapsule and Thermoregulation Treatment of Wool Fabric
The phase-change microcapsule was prepared with an interfacial polymerization method. Paraffin was used as core material. Toluene-2, 4diisocyanate (TDI) and hexane diamine (HMD) were used as shell material. The microcapsule was attached to wool fabric by coating method. The granularity and surface structure of the microcapsule were characterized by laser particle size analyzer and scanning electron microscopy. The intellectual temperaturecontrol property of the finished fabric was investigated. The results indicated that the microcapsule was approximately global with particle size about 1-5 um. The finished wool fabric existed obvious inflexions on the curves of the heating and cooling process, which demonstrated excellent thermoregulation function of the finished fabric.
