Application of ITO in Anti-static Functional Finishing in Textiles
Indium tin oxide (ITO) thin-films were deposited on polyester fibers using the sol-gels prepared from solutions of indium chloride and stannic chloride. The morphology, structure and heat properties of the as-obtained ITO-coated polyester fibers were characterized by Transmission Electron Microscopy, X-ray diffraction and Differential Scanning Calorimetry, respectively. The electrical and dyeing properties of the pristine and the ITO-coated synthetic fibers were also conducted.
