Natural Anti-moth Finishing Agent Extracted from Plant and Its Application of Wool Fabrics
Wool fabrics are susceptible to moth during storage. Natural Anti-moth Finishing Agent was extracted from plant named KC-CT. The extracted finishing agent has both effects of color and antimoth in the optimal experimental condition. Further, the effect of finishing temperature, time, concentration, pH value on staining are discussed by changing the parameters, and the optimal dyeing process has been determined through orthogonal test. The anti-moth property of finished wool fabric is tested by the standard FZ/T 20004-1991. The results showed that: wool fabrics finished with KC-CT extraction not only has good color fastness; but also has got the anti-moth property at 1A level. Anti-moth property is qualified by Chinese standard.
