Dyeing Properties of Prodigiosin Pigment

摘要：

Prodigiosin can be dissolved in ethanol, the mixture of ethanol and water was used as solvent of prodigiosin in dyeing experiment. The effects of temperature, pH, and solvent volume ratio on the kinetics of dyeing wool and acrylic fabrics using the red pigment were analyzed and the optimum dyeing process was obtained through experiments. The effects of mordants on fastnesses of wool fabric were also studied and the results showed the color change of fabrics mordanted by Al3+ was lower and the rubbing fastness and soap washing fastness were also promoted by introducing Al3+.
