Oganic-Inorganic Coagulant for Treatment of Desizing Wastewater
An organic–inorganic coagulant was prepared by silica sol and dimethyldiallylammonium chloride. It was primarily characterized by FT-IR spectra. The effect of inorganic–organic coagulant on treating desizing wastewater was tested by microscope and zeta electric potential. The results showed that the organic-inorganic coagulant originated from DMDAAC and silica sol revealed better flocculent effect than that of PDMDAAC. The filtrate of treated wastewater using the compound coagulant can be reused.
