Application of Rare Earth Complexes in the Dyeing of Cotton/Wool Blends

摘要：

Cotton and wool are two kinds of the important natural fibers. Cotton and wool blends were used to dyeing in two-bath in tradition. This method has long process and cost high energy. The rare earth complex can solute in water stable and not react with salt to form double salt precipitation, it can applied to cotton/wool yarn blends with reactive dyes in one bath process. The results showed that the rare earth complexes could help to get better union dyeing in one bath process of cotton/wool blends and short the time of the process and the energy. At the same time, the rare earth complexes improved the uptake of the reactive dyes and reduced the quantities of salt.
