Study on Setting Stability of the Stretching Slenderization of Yak Fibers for Wigs

It is known that the setting effect is a critical factor of slenderized yak fibers. And the relatively optimal setting effect achieved was that practical tensile rate 52％ for slenderized yak fibers whose theoretically tensile rate was 60％ and the shrinkage rate 5％. The shrinking performances of slenderized yak fibers with 60％ tensile rate were investigated on different heat-humidity and dry-heat conditions respectively, and inner structures of 60％ tensile rate and ultimate tensile rate after the treatment were analyzed by Raman spectrum.
