Influence of Split-feed Influent on Process Performance of Anaerobic Baffled Reactor
The study was on the process performance of Splitfeed influent which was used to treat simulated tannery wastewater and compared with Single influent in an anaerobic baffled reactor that had six compartments under the conditions of HRT 24h and COD 3000~3500mg/L during the experiment. When the influent ratio was separately 6:3:1 and 5:3:2 in the first、third and fifth compartment, the variety of sludge、pH、COD、VFA were investigated. The results showed the average removal rate of COD in single influent was 86.4%, and influent ratio of 5:3:2 and 6:3:1 were seperately 89.8% and 88.2%, which were all better than single influent.
