Assessment of Life Cycle Impact and Its Result Interpretation of a Cattlehide Tannery Beamhouse in Shandong
Based on the inventory results of the life cycle of a Cattlehide Tannery in Shandong, adopting Eco-Indicator 99 Method, the life cycle impacts were assessed to gain the environment impact index score 50.8 Pt. and the results were interpreted. Form the microscopic point of view, the addition of chrome powder and the effluent of the waste chrome liquor had the greatest effect on the environment, up to 40.5% while from the macroscopic angle, the main tannage section affected the environment most greatly, up to 51%.
