Investigation of Ecological Composite Size Materials Used for Wool Yarn

摘要：

Based on analyzing wool fiber structure and properties, a novel size constituent for wool yarn sizing has been developed. Properties of new size paste, sizing and desizing performance have been systematically evaluated. The size material has advantages in low viscosity, fluidity and penetration. The weavability of sized wool yarns with the new size material has improved significantly. In addition, size on yarns can dissolve in hot water quickly and the remainder of size on yarns is very less. The new size material for wool yarn sizing also shows good biodegradability.
