Development of the System for Predicting the Weight of Sweater
Predicting the weight of sweater is the most important part for sweater mill to organize production, improve production efficiency, cut costs and give exact quotation. This paper introduced the principles, main algorithms, system structure and functions of development in predicting the weight of sweater. The system would not only be able to quickly and accurately predict the total weight of the yarns, but also predict the proportions of different yarns in a sweater. Moreover, functions like simulating and showing the garment pieces, as well as saving, printing and searching the pattern drawing and the process parameters, were carried out. It was highly proved that the system was reliable and exact in actual application. In future, this system would play a significant role in helping enterprise improve production efficiency, cut costs, give exact quotation and so on.
