Content Testing of Wool-Polyester Textile Blends with NIR Method

The main principle of near-infrared spectroscopy applied in the selection of representative samples and spectra, the pre-treatment of the original spectrum and the establishment of standardization model are introduced in the paper. And according to the stoichiometric statistical theory, the method of quantitative analysis by near-infrared spectroscopy is introduced. Some examples are displayed to show that it is feasible to quickly analyze the wool content in textile by near-infrared spectroscopy, thus providing a new, nondestructive and fast method for determination of wool content in textile. After being improved continuously, near-infrared analytic technology is becoming mature spectrographic analytic technology.
