Practice and Research of Fracturing and Acidizing in Horizontal Wells
Horizontal development is one of the important methods to improve oil and gas well production. In recent years it has been developed rapidly, both in domestic and overseas markets. Compared with vertical wells, horizontul wells have a greatly increased drainage area, and are able to greatly improve productivity, and finally improve the recov ery efficiency. Under the circumstances of the continuous development of horizontal drilling technology, horizontal completion and stimulation technology has become the key point of horizontal well technology development. In recent years, many field practices have been undertaken on the fracturing technology of horizontal wells and successfully fulfilled more than SO jobs by CCDC Downhole Services Company, with many kinds of techniques, such as horizontal well acidizing with coiled tubing, and horizontal well mechanical sectionalized by an openhole tool. Other utilized techniques include horizontal well jetting sectionalizing, horizontal well bridge plug sectionali zing,etc.,and also capable of performing multi -stage fracturing and acidizing in horizontal openholes solely by CCDC. This paper has concluded experiences on field practices of horizontal fracturing, and is a useful reference for improvement of horizontal stimulation operation.
