Information Remote Transmission Technology & Application in Interpretation & Monitoring while Drilling & Geological Researches
With the maturity and popularity of the Internet, every enterprise is sharing information using Internet technol ogy. The information age represents the current or future new economic time. The information development of the pe troleum industry makes it enjoy the advantages of information technology. Wellsite information remote transmission technology is one part of the informatization of the drilling and exploration industry. Wellsite information remote transmission technology,through field information acquisition, remote transmission database and web publishing, allows a fast communicative platform for managers or technological personnel to remotely master field information of drilling and exploration to aid centralized monitoring, analysis and decision -making. Currently, wellsite infor mation remote transmission technology includes drilling real -time data remote transmission, mudlogging data re mote transmission, wire line logging data remote transmission, LWD/MWD remote real -time transmission, remote video (video conference) transmission, oil production well remote monitoring and integrated management of wellsite achievements and data. It can improve work efficiency by the monitoring, managing and guiding of remote opera tion status thereby allowing remote decision -making, analysis and monitoring. This remote transmission platform can improve the timely interpretation while drilling, achieve scientific and fast drilling, and provide the basis for timely geological research and oilfield production and achieve speedy and analytical decision -making. The results and data of this system can be stored and shared on the Internet as the research basis of oilfield exploration and de velopment. Information remote transmission technology can contribute to the exploration and development of digital oilfields.
