Study and Application of Expandable Tubular Technology for Completion

摘要：

Expandable tubular technology is a new drilling and production technology, which can reduce drilling and completion cost and is used in the completion of multilateral, horizontal well, and deep well and sidetracked well. It is also utilized in workover for casing repairing and zonal isolation. The technology can realize slim hole completion and mono bore completion. The application difficulties, advantages in sidetracked well completion and casing repair are introduced in this paper. The paper also describes the features of expandable tube associated tools, expandable tube hanger and tool materials. Field application indicates that the expandable tubular technology is a new tech nology for recovering old wells and reducing the drilling and completion cost.
