Horizontal Well & Multilateral Horizontal Well Technology Application
After years of theoretical study and practice, horizontal well & multilateral horizontal well technology has been progressively maturing and improving. Now, the independent intellectual property rights of horizontal well & multi -branch well technology have been achieved, including horizontal well integrated technology,DF -1 casing win dow cutting branch well technology,fishbone horizontal well technology, multi -level complex branch well technolo gy. These integrated support technologies breakthroughs many key challenges, such as oil reservoir optimizing and oil well distribution technology, casing window cutting and fishbone well sidetracking technology in hard forma tions, complex section safe drilling and reservoir protection technology, which can solve the issues because of a smal ler development area and higher unit cost for oil or gas development with conventional vertical wells and directional wells. The technologies have been applied successfully to light oil,heavy oil,buried hill,fault block and other oil and gas reservoirs. Practice shows that the technology significantly enhances oil recovery and effectively reduces the unit cost of oil development, achieving economic and efficiency development for difficult mining blocks. It has great application value,so its market prospect is broad.
