Horizontal Well Drilling and Completion Technology in Daqing oil field
Regarding the issues that outskirt oil reservoirs have thin layers and unbalanced sand rock distributions, more and more wells are getting low productivity and are closing -down, and high temperature natural gas wells have low drillability. Furthermore, horizontal well coring can easily experience problems with broken and stuck cores, ul tra -thin layer horizontal wells,fishbone wells,and ultra -short radius horizontal wells. Deep zone horizontal well drilling and completion technology research and application have been undertaken in this research. With the hori zontal well coring research,the 0. 5 -2m ultra -thin layer sandrock drilling problem has been solved,and the sep arate reservoirs could be connected through one well. To insure the exploratory development of deep gas reservoirs, the horizontal well coring tools have been developed to do the continuous coring and sealed coring, which is suitable to the horizontal well drilling in Daqing oil field.
