The Evaluation Technique of Complex Lithology Reservoirs
This article introduces several new technique improvements in lithology identification, reservoir parameter cal culation,fluid identification,reservoirs classification and saturation model set up,which are aimed at the complex lithology reservoirs encountered in petroleum exploration and development. Such reservoirs include volcanic rock, poor porosity and permeability sandstone, tight glutenite and nearer provenance volcaniclastic rock. For volcanic rock reservoirs,five key techniques(including 3D lithology recognizing) were undertaken. For tight glutenite reser voirs, lithology identification criteria and fluid distinguishing chart were set up for different lithologies. For nearer provenance volcaniclastic rock, a pilot study into the impact of tuffaceous content on logging response characteris tics, and classification criteria of effective reservoir on NMR data were carried out. For low porosity, law permeability and low resistivity reservoirs,a three water conductive model was set up. The techniques above have become an important technique support for petroleum exploration and development in Daqing oilfield.
