The Application of Geochemical Logging in Wellbore Services
The rapid development of drilling technology influences the conventional logging and gas logging to some ex tent. It increases the difficulty to discover oil and gas shows, interpret reservoirs and discriminate the oil -water in terface. It also caused the errors of geological prediction and identification of purpose layer s bottom boundary, so that the drilling cycle was extend artificially. On one hand it has caused stratum pollution, and on the other hand it results in a waste of resources. In this paper, means of the analysis of geochemical logging parameters and the chromatograph charts, using the mathematical statistic, mathematics geology and chart methods and so on, are pro vided to solve such problems as shows recognition with polluted drilling fluid, crude oil type dividing, reservoir oili ness explanation,flooding level distinction and so on. Finally, instructions on well drilling construction has made big progress in practical application.
