Adaptive Hysteresis Selection Method in Advanced E-UTRAN
In Advanced E-UTRA Carrier Aggregation (CA) is introduced as a key technique feature to support high peak data rate. So the network will configure more than one component carrier for one UE to transmit data. Because the radio characteristic of each component carrier e.g. the path loss is different, the measurement report triggering time may be different as well. This will cause the network can not receive all required information in time. Corresponding high latency will deteriorate the mobility performance directly. This paper proposes an adaptive hysteresis selection method in which all component carriers will be configure respective hysteresis value to adjust the triggering time to be same.
