Geostationary Millimetre and Submillimetre-Wave Sounder for FengYun-4Meteorological Satellite
Millimeter-wave and Sub-millimeter wave sounder is the main payload onboard the FengYun-4(FY-4) microwave sub-series geosynchronous meteorological satellite. It can detect atmospheric temperature and humid profile and some weather disaster such as strong rainfall all day and all weather in geosynchronous orbit. This paper mainly introduces its construction, operation of the sounding system and some primary schemes for its important subsystems. millimeter wave, sub-millimeter wave, Quasi-optical network, reflector antennas,receiver, calibration.
