A HEURISTICS ON TRANSPORTATION PLAN OF FINISHED CARS BY PURE CAR CARRIERS

摘要：

This paper aims to propose a heuristics for making a transportation plan by pure car carriers. Car manufacturers transport finished cars by trailers and pure car carriers. In this paper, we consider transportation by pure car carriers. We formulate a transportation model for a mathematical programming problem, propose a heuristics using an Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) and clarify the effectiveness of our heuristics by numerical examples.
