SUPPLY CHAIN COLLABORATION IN THAI MAJOR INDUSTRIES

Thai industries have been greatly affected by the global financial crisis. In order to increase the competitiveness, Thai companies have to improve their organizational performance and move forward for building more collaboration with their supply chain partners. This study focuses on Supply Chain Collaboration (SCC) in four major industries of Thailand, which are Computer Parts, Automotive, Textile-Apparel, and Construction industry. The survey and interview were conducted to explore the major collaborative activities in each industry and the major drivers of building SCC. We also investigated the occurrence of SCC in the various characteristics of the companies such as type of industry, type of company, and firms size. The results show that the occurrences of SCC of each industry are different and also in term of the firms size.
