APPLICATION OF QFD IN SUBSTATION PROJECT LIFE CYCLE DESIGN QUALITY MANAGEMENT
The design quality of substation project, which is an important part of grid engineering system, is directly related to life cycle performance and safety operation of the whole system. This paper describes a new approach to improve the life cycle design quality. With application of Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method which could fully focus the users requirement, the connotation and requirement of substation life cycle design quality are investigated and analysed. Subsequently, the House of Quality in substation life cycle design is established to help designer to work out the main point and key measures in life cycle design. On this basis, the guide of substation life cycle design is compiled, which is used in a substation project life cycle design in practice. The case study demonstrates that QFD method is feasible and superior in implementation of life cycle design quality management.
