RADIOPAQUE MICROSPHERES FOR IMPROVED TRANSARTERIAL CHEMICAL EMBOLISATION (TACE)

摘要：

New improved X-ray visible microspheres for transarterial chemical embolization (TACE) were prepared. The currently used microspheres are not visible during and after the procedure by standard X-ray techniques. Additionally these spheres have limited capacity for the anti-tumor drug doxorubicin. We have prepared radiopaque microspheres with micro-or macro-porosity that show increased drug-loading capacity.
