KERATIN FILMS FROM CHICKEN FEATHERS FOR CONTROLLED DRUG RELEASE
During the past two decades significant advances have been made in the development of biomaterials for biomedical applications, especially biomaterials based on natural polymers. In this paper, we report the preparation of protein films for controlled drug release applications. This presents also a simple method to reutilize disused feathers.
