FUNCTIONAL SURFACE MODIFICATION OF PE FILM BY DOPAMINE-β-CYCLODEXTRIN CONJUGATE
A novel adhesive carrier, DA-MAH-β-CD, which combined p-cyclodextrin (β-CD) and dopamine (DA) was prepared by using the linker maleic anhydride (MAH). DA-MAH-p-CD could be coated on various substrates of polymers and metals in aqueous solution. Polyethylene (PE) film was used as a substrate for coating and chloramphenicol (CAP) was chosen as a model drug for studying the loading behavior of the DA-MAH-β-CD coating.
