PREPARATION OF UV-CROSSLINKED BIODEGRADABLE POLY(p-DIOXANONE)/POLY(ETHYLENE GLYCOL) FILMS
Poly(p-dioxanone)/poly(ethylene glycol) (PPDO/PEG) crosslinked films were prepared through the UV-initiated polymerization of acrylated PPDO with PEG200 diacrylate. The acrylated PPDO was prepared from the reaction of acryloyl chloride with the star-shaped hydroxy-terminated PPDO. The prepared crosslinked films were characterized by thermogravimetry (TG) and wide angle X-ray diffraction (WAXD). It was shown that the thermal stability of the films increased with increasing weight fraction of PEG segments, while the degree of crystallinity of the films decreased.
